The Circle Z is a very special place in Patagonia, Arizona. A dude ranch since 1926, located by the idyllic ever flowing Sonoita Creek, in the foothills of the Santa Rita Mountains. The photographs on this website are the work of Terry Long, and prints may be purchased by calling Terry at 909-648-6646. Hummingbird
The hummingbird feeder is strategically placed close to the window near the coffee server. You can sip your coffee while watching the colorful hummingbirds have their breakfast.
Cottonwood Tree.
This impressive tree is the largest cottonwood tree in the United States and is located at the ranch.
The Call.
There are not any phones in the rooms, which is a blessing. Peace and quiet. Sometimes the staff have to make the call to keep the ranch running smoothly.
The Kiss.
I personally have avoided being kissed by a horse. My daughter Madeleine seems to be enjoying the occasion.
Setting Sun
Although millions of images have been made of the sun rising and setting, it is still a most powerful sight to behold, and to record.

Hill House
We have stayed twice at Hill House on our visits to Circle Z. The porch is great place to sit and unwind.
